In early 2007, my husband --a smart, active man-- sustained a severe traumatic brain injury in a car accident. After a coma of three weeks and months of rehabilitation, he came home needing constant care, using a wheelchair, not using his left side, and speaking little. He now walks, uses his left hand and arm, and helps around the house. He's taking on more responsibilities and connects more with his children and our pets.
Thank you, God, for miracles so far and we pray for more to come. I also pray that through our experiences, we can ease the way for others in like circumstances.
