Our saga started exactly one year ago today. I've been stunned, scared, and sad. More often, though, I've been grateful. Thank God for dh's progress and thanks to all who have stood by us and offered support in so many ways.
In the past few days, I've had friends note that dh seems warmer, more "there," and more aware of others. His physical therapist has seen immense improvement in the kind and amount of exercises dh's able to do. He's initiating more and showing more abstract thought.
